1. Increased FDI capital, Vietnam makes an impression in the emerging IFM market group: Experts from Savills Vietnam Company commented that the realized foreign direct investment (FDI) capital flow reaching the highest level in the past 5 years has created a new growth wave for the integrated facilities management (IFM) market in Vietnam; making Vietnam a bright spot in the emerging IFM market group.
2. Signing the contract to expand the Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong - My Thuan Expressway under the PPP method: The contract signing ceremony on the morning of December 8, in Hanoi, was organized by the Vietnam Road Administration in coordination with the Investor Consortium. This is a project of special importance, contributing to strengthening the connection between the Southern key economic region and the Mekong Delta, promoting the circulation of goods, ensuring national defense and security.
3. Localities must complete the announcement of storm and flood-resistant house designs before December 10: The design and announcement of local designs must be completed before December 10, 2025 to meet the rapid progress of the "Quang Trung Campaign". Vietnam - China pilot two-way cargo transportation through the pair of border gates in Lang Son: According to information from the Management Board of Dong Dang - Lang Son Border Gate Economic Zone, from December 10, 2025, a two-way cargo transportation method will be piloted through dedicated roads and customs clearance routes at the pair of international border gates Huu Nghi (Vietnam) - Huu Nghi Quan (China). Next was the UAE accounting for 8.9% with 19,930 tons, up 28.6%; China accounting for 7.9% with 17,744 tons, up sharply 83.7%; India accounting for 5.2% with 11,750 tons, up 18%; and Germany accounting for 4.8% with 10,876 tons, down 23.2%.

Vietjet flies daily between Ho Chi Minh City and Manila from December 19: Accordingly, flights depart from Tan Son Nhat International Airport (Ho Chi Minh City) at 11:05 p.m. every day from Monday to Sunday. The flight lands at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (Manila) at 2:50 a.m. the next morning (local time). In the opposite direction, the flight takes off from Manila at 3:45 a.m. from Monday to Sunday and lands in Ho Chi Minh City at 5:30 a.m. the same day.
7. Viettel surpasses schedule, reaching 20,000 5G stations 3 weeks earlier: On December 8, the Military Industry-Telecoms Group (Viettel) announced that it had reached the milestone of installing 20,000 new 5G stations in 2025, more than 3 weeks ahead of the commitment plan to the Government. It is expected that by December 31, 2025, the total number of Viettel 5G stations accumulated in the entire network will reach 30,000 stations, covering 90% of the outdoor area nationwide.
8. Ho Chi Minh City approves Vinspeed as the investor of Ben Thanh - Can Gio metro: The Ben Thanh - Can Gio railway project (Ben Thanh - Can Gio metro) with a designed speed of 350 km/h and a total investment of 102,430 billion VND will be invested by Vinspeed High-Speed Railway Investment and Development Joint Stock Company. The content has just been approved by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee to approve the investment policy and the investor.
9. Awarding 22 prizes for the 2025 Electricity Saving Propaganda Contest: On the afternoon of December 8, the Ministry of Industry and Trade held an award ceremony for the "Electricity Saving Propaganda Contest 2025". Protecting more than 280,000 hectares of forest: According to a report by the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, after 5 years of implementing the project (2021-2025), 21 coastal provinces and cities have completed the protection of 281,000 hectares of forest (reaching 102% of the plan). The total area of newly planted, supplemented and restored forests reached over 11,600 hectares, including more than 7,700 hectares of mangrove forests and nearly 4,200 hectares of wind and sand protection forests.
