Opening of the 2025 National Class A Volleyball Tournament

On the evening of October 23, at Ha Tinh Provincial Gymnasium, the Vietnam Sports Administration coordinated with the Ha Tinh Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to organize the final round of the 2025 National A-Class Volleyball Tournament.

This year's tournament is considered the most dramatic and attractive ever, gathering 15 strong teams, 6 foreign players and a series of famous stars of the national volleyball team, creating a fierce race for a ticket to be promoted to play in the 2026 National Championship.

The tournament will feature 15 teams (7 men's teams and 8 women's teams). The teams will be divided into groups and compete in a round robin to determine the teams that will advance to the quarterfinals, semi-finals and finals. The men's and women's teams that win the finals will be promoted to the 2026 National Volleyball Championship.

With the participation of many famous players, the professional quality of the A-Class Volleyball Tournament in Ha Tinh this year is considered to be a tournament with high professional quality. The tournament promises to have fierce competition between candidates such as Vinh Long, VLXD Binh Duong and the host team Ha Tinh.

This is not only a tournament that decides the promotion ticket but also a valuable opportunity for young athletes to compete and learn from top stars, while helping experts discover and nurture new talents for Vietnamese volleyball.

After the opening ceremony, the match between the home team Ha Tinh and the team of the Mobile Police Command took place. Entering the match, with the enthusiastic cheers of the home fans, the athletes of the Ha Tinh volleyball team entered the match well, with key players such as Dinh Van Phuong (number 18), Duong Ngoc Danh (number 15), foreign hitter Assanaphan Chantajorn (number 20) from Thailand and captain Tran Duc Hanh (number 11). The Ha Tinh volleyball team quickly won the first set with a score of 25-15.

With great determination, the Ha Tinh volleyball team continued to win the second set easily with a score of 25-17. Although the Mobile Police Command volleyball team had national players such as Quan Trong Nghia (number 4), Nguyen Quoc Doan (number 14) and many other young players, they could not change the situation.

Facing a strong match in the third set, Mr. Tran Dang Thanh, Head Coach of Ha Tinh volleyball team, withdrew the main pillars, replacing setter Phan Minh Chien (number 4), foreign player Assanaphan Chantajorn, Dinh Van Phuong. In the end, Ha Tinh volleyball team continued to win the third set with a score of 25-15.

The final round of the 2025 National A-Class Volleyball Tournament takes place from October 23 to November 2 at the Ha Tinh Provincial Sports Gymnasium.
