At this session, delegates reviewed and commented on the draft Report on the socio- economic situation in July and the first 7 months of the year, key tasks for August 2025 submitted by the Department of Finance; the draft Report of the Provincial Party Standing Committee summarizing 5 years of implementing Resolution No. 49-NQ/TU, dated September 28, 2021 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on digital transformation of Lang Son province to 2025, with a vision to 2030 submitted by the Department of Science and Technology; the draft Decision of the Provincial People's Committee on the list of personal belongings and school supplies for students of ethnic minority boarding schools in the province submitted by the Department of Education and Training; the draft Decision on promulgating measures to implement a number of contents on the development and promulgation of legal documents of the People's Council, People's Committee, and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee submitted by the Department of Justice.
After listening to written comments and discussions at the meeting, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee concluded on each specific content.
Regarding the draft Report on the socio-economic situation in July and the first 7 months of the year, key tasks for August 2025, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the drafting agency to supplement the content of the assessment of the activities of the commune-level government after the reorganization of the apparatus; edit and clarify the assessment contents in the fields of agriculture and budget collection; supplement the task of focusing on directing the implementation of national target programs; the field of investment and construction needs to supplement the project of specialized roads for transporting goods in the pilot project of building smart border gates; the field of national security and defense needs to supplement the work of preparing conditions for organizing a workshop on the implementation of Resolution 16 of the Politburo on socio-economic development of Vietnam - China mainland communes, associated with ensuring national defense and security...
Regarding the draft Report of the Provincial Party Standing Committee summarizing 5 years of implementing Resolution No. 49-NQ/TU, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the drafting agency to clearly state that the digital transformation work in the province has been directed early, resolutely and achieved positive results, recognized and highly appreciated by ministries and branches. At the same time, it is necessary to assess the practical effects that digital transformation brings; closely follow the content of the resolution to build a more suitable report structure.
He also analyzed and requested a review of the contents of targets, objectives, and solutions to ensure a clear and coherent report. Based on the comments and conclusions at the meeting, the drafting agency will receive and complete the report before August 5 to send to the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee.
Regarding the draft Decision of the Provincial People's Committee on the list of personal items and school supplies provided to students of ethnic boarding schools, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the drafting agency to absorb the comments and rebuild the draft. In particular, it is necessary to pay attention to reviewing each content of the regulation, clearly stating the quantity of daily necessities and school supplies for students in a specific manner according to each level of education, ensuring that it is consistent with the practical requirements and current regulations.
At the meeting, delegates also focused on reviewing and giving opinions on the draft Decision on Promulgating Regulations on measures to implement a number of contents on the development and promulgation of legal documents of the People's Council and People's Committee.
