At 1:00 p.m. on June 27, DOJI gold price in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City was listed at VND74.98 million/tael for buying and VND76.98 million/tael for selling, unchanged from the previous session.

The price of SJC gold bars remained unchanged for the 22nd consecutive day, listed at 74.98-76.98 million VND/tael for buying and selling. The difference between buying and selling is 2 million VND/tael.
The price of SJC 9999 gold rings continued to fall following the world price decline, buying at 73.65 million VND/tael, selling at 75.25 million VND/tael, down 200,000 VND compared to the previous session. The difference between buying and selling is 1.6 million VND/tael.
PNJ gold bought at 73.7 million VND/tael and sold at 75.4 million VND/tael, down 150,000 VND and 100,000 VND respectively compared to the previous session.
As of 1:00 p.m. on June 27 (Vietnam time), the world gold price increased slightly by 1.9 USD compared to the previous session's close to 2,299.7 USD/ounce.
World gold prices recovered slightly today after being under pressure to fall below the important resistance level of 2,300 USD in yesterday's session following "tough" comments from FED officials when deciding to step up the fight against inflation.
Earlier this week, Fed Governor Michelle Bowman reiterated the view that keeping interest rates on hold “for some time” will likely be enough to keep inflation in check.

The yellow metal is attracting money managers and hedge funds, according to a recent study by the World Gold Council and State Street. Looking at investment demand, State Street’s Milling-Stanley has raised his gold price forecast for the second half of the year, predicting prices to hover between $2,200 and $2,300 an ounce.
This morning, the USD-Index rose to 105.90 points; the yield on 10-year US Treasury bonds fell to 4.268%; US stocks continued to rise as technology stocks maintained their upward momentum; oil prices stabilized at $84.38/barrel for Brent and $80.82/barrel for WTI.
