On the evening of August 4, at the Vietnam Museum of Fine Arts ( Hanoi ), the Vietnam Disability Fashion Show 2025 took place with the efforts of disabled models and received the attention and support of the public.
The two ambassadors accompanying the program are Miss Vietnam 2024 Ha Truc Linh and speaker Nguyen Son Lam.
The program was attended by about 500 guests, including representatives of businesses, social organizations, the media, people with disabilities, artists and fashion designers.
At the show, the models confidently showcased 5 collections designed to suit their individual body shapes and personalities. The 54 models were people with disabilities from many regions across the country.
Not only inviting people with disabilities to perform, some brands participating in the program also use disabled workers in the product design and production stages.
The program is organized by HGI Group in coordination with the Hanoi Association of People with Disabilities and the Vietnam Center for Vocational Education and Capacity Development for People with Disabilities.
Choosing the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum as the stage, the Organizing Committee hopes to breathe artistic soul into every step on the catwalk - so that each stride is not only an expression of personality, but also a declaration of limitless beauty, of a society where everyone has the right to be present and shine.
On this occasion, the Organizing Committee launched the charity project “Kind Fashion Closet” including a series of practical activities for people with disabilities such as building wardrobes for people with disabilities at vocational training centers, disabled people’s associations, schools, etc.; mobilizing donations of recycled fabrics, calling for the design of suitable clothing for people with disabilities.
