Successfully "reached the finish line" with a total donation of more than 3 billion VND

Launched from April 3, 2023 and lasting for 3 weeks, EDURUN 2023 is held at all 49 campuses of the Vinschool Education System with a variety of activities: Daily running, concentrated running events, athletics competitions, talk shows - discussions on sports, health promotion, photo contests on social networks... all to spread the message " Run for Health, Run for Education, Run for the Community ": When each step contributes to narrowing the educational gap, contributing to supporting poor students in remote areas to study in a more spacious school.

Ms. Truong Thi Hai Ly, Vice Principal of Vinschool Smart City Primary, Secondary and High School shared : “I am very proud to see Vinschool Parents and Students enthusiastically participating in meaningful volunteer sports activities such as EDURUN, working side by side with the School to support children in remote areas to have more spacious schools” .

In particular, the large-scale EDURUN 2023 Offline Running Day, held for the first time at Vinschool Star City - Thanh Hoa, took place with many memorable emotions. The program attracted thousands of athletes including students, families, relatives, staff, Vinschool employees and residents of Vinhomes Star City urban area to participate. Representatives of the Board of Directors of Dong A Thanh Hoa Football Club and the "super hot" players of Thanh Hoa, including players Hoang Dinh Tung, Le Quoc Phuong and Nguyen Trong Hung, also attended and joined in the exciting event.

Sharing her feelings right before starting the race, Ms. Hoang Thi Thuy, a parent of a student at Vinschool Star City Primary School, said: " The whole family of 4 members is excited to participate in the EDURUN 2023 race today because running is a sport that the whole family loves. I am very happy to have participated in such a wonderful program for children, parents and the school to connect with each other, and at the same time, it is also a practical action for Vinschool students to have the awareness to share and spread kindness ."

Mr. Hoang Van Hai, parent of a student at Vinschool Star City Primary School - First prize winner in the 0.5km distance, received the award from sponsor GeneStory after running with his daughter and expressed his joy: "The event has brought great meaning to my family when we have the opportunity to connect more, take better care of our health. For my daughter, this is also an opportunity for her to express herself and show that she can overcome all difficulties" .

In addition, the “EDURUN Moments” Photo Contest on Vinschool’s official Facebook page also attracted a large number of interested and participating people during the race. The Organizing Committee presented gifts from sponsors VinFast, GeneStory and VinWonders to 20 individuals who won the Inspirational Award - the authors of photos that conveyed meaningful messages about the race.

After 7 years of implementation, the EDURUN (RUN FOR EDUCATION) race has built up its reputation and received great attention and support from the community for a meaningful volunteer sports activity, attracting tens of thousands of participants each year, successfully raising a total amount of up to 15.6 billion VND.

Drawing from the EDURUN fund over the years, by 2022 Vinschool had completely built 4 new kindergartens and 17 classrooms along with auxiliary works for 5 general schools in 4 remote provinces across the country: Son La, Dien Bien, Quang Binh and Quang Tri, stabilizing study places for thousands of students. Currently, Vinschool continues to coordinate with parents to find difficult addresses that need support, continue to build spacious schools, helping to narrow the educational gap for poor children.

The EDURUN 2023 - RUN FOR EDUCATION race with the mission of building a sports activity for charity purposes has attracted enthusiastic participation from the community with many different forms of fundraising: donations through buying EDURUN 2023 shirts, online donations through opening a running account on the 84Race platform and direct donations at school facilities.

Impressive numbers of EDURUN 2023 :

3,266,691,450 VND is the amount of money that EDURUN 2023 has successfully raised.

Nearly 35,000 people participated (both online and offline).

162,723 km is the total number of kilometers achieved on the 84RACE online running platform. All proceeds from the EDURUN 2023 Charity Fund will be used by Vinschool for charity activities to build new and repair schools ( details of charity activities will be announced later on the Website and Vinschool's official Fanpage ).
