According to the company, the above products are CetecoCenzitax (Cinnarizin 25mg) manufactured by the company under registration number VD-20384-13, production batch: 01/0823. The drug was manufactured on August 3, 2023, with an expiration date of August 3, 2026.
However, during the circulation on the market, the above product batch showed a decrease in content, so the Hai Duong City Testing Center tested the quality and the Drug Administration Department issued an official dispatch requesting the recall of the product batch in Hai Duong province in 2024.
Central Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company 3 has made a decision to recall and recall the above product batch nationwide.
Complete recall by July 31, 2024 with a quantity of 189,600 tablets.
On August 22, 2024, the company destroyed the medicine at the company by removing the secondary packaging, tearing off the box, peeling off the blister pack, and running a car over it many times to damage the medicine in the blister pack.

On May 23, 2025, the company completed procedures to transfer the above destroyed products to the environmental company for complete treatment.
According to regulations, the company will sign a destruction contract and must supervise the transportation process and witness the destruction. However, the company contacted a private unit to transport the above products to Khanh Son landfill for destruction.
"The drug destruction council failed to supervise the destruction process at Khanh Son landfill," the company's report stated.
After discovering the drugs in an empty lot in Lien Chieu district, the company contacted and worked with the authorities and collected all of the drugs.
