Despite the efforts of the local government and teachers, theeducational work of Phuong Tien commune, Vi Xuyen district is currently facing many difficulties. After many efforts to bring students back to the main school, in the 2020-2021 school year, the school was forced to bring 5 classes with nearly 100 students back to the school to study. However, up to now, the difficulties facing the school are still very great and require attention and investment from the district and local authorities.
The school currently has 69 boarding students. |
Phuong Tien Primary School in Na Mau village is 6km from the main school. It currently maintains 5 classes from grade 1 to grade 5 with 93 students. Although the classrooms have been repaired, they are basically only enough for teaching and learning. The current teaching equipment and supplies are very lacking. The school has 3 full-day classes a week, so students have to bring their own rice, while the school mobilizes and socializes organizations to support lunch money for the children at a rate of 6 thousand/child/meal. During break time, teachers here go into the kitchen to cook food for students and supervise students during lunch. All of these jobs are done with love for the profession and the desire for students to attend school regularly.

In the 2023-2024 school year, Phuong Tien Primary School has a total of 15 classes with 339 students. Of which, the main school has a total of 10 classes. In terms of facilities, the main school currently has 10 classrooms and 3 subjects. The number of solid classrooms is 7. Currently, the school has 69 boarding students. Due to the lack of classrooms in the facilities and the economic difficulties of most parents who do not have money to pay for their children to stay in boarding schools, the school is forced to maintain the school.
The school still lacks teachers to teach 2 sessions/day for classes teaching the 2018 general education program. |
Although it is clear that sending students to study at the school will affect the quality of education, due to the local facilities and socio-economic conditions, the above solution was chosen by the government and the school.
Along with the above problems, the school currently lacks teachers to teach 2 sessions/day for classes teaching the 2018 general education program. There is a lack of teaching equipment for grades 2 and 4 according to the 2018 general education program. In addition, the state budget is still limited, so investment in purchasing reference books and teaching equipment is limited./.
