[Video] Ministry of Health speaks out about animal feed being turned into cooking oil for humans

Tens of thousands of tons of cooking oil used to make animal feed have been transformed into cooking oil for humans, infiltrating industrial kitchens, posing a great risk to public health and exposing loopholes in food safety management.

The Food Safety Department ( Ministry of Health ) issued a warning on the evening of June 24 about serious violations of food safety regulations, after VTV exposed the case of vegetable oil used to produce animal feed being used as cooking oil for humans. This violation was carried out by Nhat Minh Food Production and Import-Export Company Limited, with a scale of up to tens of thousands of tons of oil, with a revenue of more than 8,200 billion VND in the past 3 years.
