[Video] Opening of the Press Center serving the 18th Hanoi Party Congress

On the morning of October 14, the Hanoi Party Committee held the opening ceremony of the Press Center serving the 18th Hanoi Party Congress at the National Convention Center.

The Press Center serving the 18th Hanoi Party Congress was established with 18 members, including 1 Director, Mr. Dao Xuan Dung - Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the City Party Committee, 5 Deputy Directors and 12 members representing relevant agencies.

The Center is responsible for providing information under the direction of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, issuing press releases after each working session and organizing a press conference to announce the results of the Congress on the afternoon of October 17.

The 18th Hanoi Party Congress will take place from October 15 to 17, 2025, with the goal of reviewing the results of the 17th term, setting out the direction for the capital's development in the 2025-2030 period, with a vision to 2045, and electing the new Executive Committee and the delegation to attend the 14th National Party Congress; at the same time, discussing and contributing opinions to the draft documents of the 14th Party Congress.

The motto of the Congress is: “Solidarity – Democracy – Discipline – Breakthrough – Development.”
