On the evening of August 17, Ninh Binh Club won 3-1 against Hong Linh Ha Tinh in round 1 of V-League season 2025-2026.

The V-League rookie let their opponent score first in the 34th minute. However, thanks to their quality players, they quickly regained control of the game and scored immediately. Duc Chien was the one to equalize 1-1.

The drama was heightened in the final minutes when in the 89th minute, Dung Quang Nho had a powerful shot to bring the score to 2-1 for Ninh Binh Club.

In the 90+3 minute, they also scored the final goal to win 3-1. Nguyen Hoang Duc made his mark with a classy assist to help striker Pham Gia Hung score against Hong Linh Ha Tinh.

The victory in the opening match helped rookie Ninh Binh Club rise to 2nd place on the rankings after the end of round 1 of V-League season 2025-2026.
