In mid-October, many tourists had unforgettable experiences on the wind power field in Vinh Hau commune, Ca Mau province.
Coming here, in addition to seeing the coastal wind turbines with their own eyes, tourists can also row a boat through the mangrove forests to enjoy the fresh air and immerse themselves in nature. In particular, tourists can also entertain themselves by fishing for barramundi, catfish, and brown fish under the wind turbines.
Mr. Tran Van Tien (34 years old, living in Ho Chi Minh City) said that after a period of thinking, his family decided to choose a tourist area in Vinh Hau commune as a weekend destination to relax after hard working days.
"My family left very early to watch the sunrise on the wind farm because the scene was very beautiful and romantic. After that, I rented an electric car to take my family members to the wind turbine tower to "check in" and enjoy dishes made from local specialties" - Mr. Tien shared.
A leader of the Vinh Hau Commune Party Committee said that the locality has 4 wind power companies operating with 69 turbines, total capacity of 270 MW.
"Vinh Hau commune has many potentials and advantages in developing combined eco-tourism, such as: Hoa Binh 1 Wind Power Tourism Area, visiting and experiencing salt making, catching clams..." - this person added.
