The conference focused on discussing and finding solutions to connect supply chains, expand product portfolios in the industry, and build brands, thereby creating a foundation for a sustainable development roadmap for online exports in Vietnam.
Globally, products from third-party sellers, including those from Vietnam, account for 60% of all products sold on Amazon. Vietnam is emerging as a new manufacturing hub with diverse production and supply capabilities.
In 2023, Vietnamese businesses sold over 17 million products on Amazon, bringing unique Made in Vietnam products to customers worldwide , ranging from handicrafts, home decor, furniture, organic cashews to a variety of sustainable products.
At the event, Amazon also introduced a range of new and improved tools and programs to help businesses accelerate exports through e-commerce. These include: a fee-based account maintenance program, Brand Tailored Promotions, and an upgraded SEND shipping program… thereby supporting businesses throughout every stage of selling on Amazon.
Amazon is reportedly committed to strengthening its presence in Vietnam, officially opening the Amazon Day-1 Vietnam Training Center and a new office in Ho Chi Minh City.
This is Amazon's first on-site networking and training center in Vietnam, with a capacity of 100 people, along with a studio for producing and broadcasting online training content and webinars to equip and meet the growing demand for cross-border e-commerce knowledge in the country.
