The tourism promotion event took place on May 9 in Moscow, Russia, within the framework of the state visit of General Secretary To Lam and his wife to the Russian Federation.
The Vietnam Tourism Promotion Program in the Russian Federation 2025 and the Hanoi - Moscow direct flight announcement ceremony were honored to welcome leaders of Vietnam and the Russian Federation, representatives of the Vietnamese Embassy in the Russian Federation, leading tourism businesses of the Russian Federation, and news agencies and newspapers of the two countries.
An important highlight of the Vietnam Tourism Promotion Program in the Russian Federation 2025 is the signing ceremony of strategic cooperation Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) between Saigon Tourist Group and Vietnam Airlines with leading partners of the Russian Federation.
Specifically, the two groups signed an MOU with Amparus Tour Company and the Russian Tourism Advisory Council - Travel Professional. Next, Saigontourist Travel Service Company (under Saigontourist Group) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Mosturflot Cruise and River Cruise Group on May 9.
The Memorandums of Understanding focus on developing and promoting air transport, maritime transport, tourism, travel, service technology and MICE services solutions, meeting the needs of Vietnamese and Russian customers.
The parties also agreed to cooperate in promoting tourism in both countries, building the brand image of Saigontourist Group and its partners in both markets; jointly developing and exploiting attractive tourism products; providing special promotional packages for tourists from Vietnam and the Russian Federation.
The two sides will also organize survey programs (Famtrip) in Vietnam and the Russian Federation for tourism organizations, media units and important delegations.

Mr. Pham Huy Binh - Chairman of Saigontourist Group - emphasized that the program to promote Vietnamese tourism in the Russian Federation in 2025 is of great significance in the context that the Vietnamese tourism industry is making efforts to re-expand this potential traditional tourist market.
The announcement of Vietnam Airlines' direct flight route Hanoi - Moscow is a strong step forward, creating more favorable conditions than ever for Russian tourists to explore the beauty and charm of Vietnam.
"We believe that, with the close cooperation between Saigontourist Group, Vietnam Airlines and Russian partners, Vietnamese tourism will soon receive a strong recovery from the Russian Federation market, contributing to economic development and strengthening the friendly relationship between the two countries," Mr. Pham Huy Binh affirmed the importance of the event program.
Saigontourist Group leaders also hope that through this program, Russian tourists will have more attractive information about destinations, high-quality tourism products and services in Vietnam, thereby promoting the number of Russian tourists to Vietnam in the coming time.
This is not only a simple tourism promotion activity but also a vivid expression of the comprehensive and sustainable cooperation relationship between Vietnam and the Russian Federation, especially in the field of tourism.
The Vietnam Tourism Promotion Program in the Russian Federation 2025 is one of the important activities of Saigontourist Group, following many international events successfully implemented in recent years, with the aim of promoting the image of Vietnam tourism to international friends, contributing to the development of tourism in Ho Chi Minh City and Vietnam.
Previously, Saigontourist Group participated and contributed ideas at the Business Forum, proposing solutions to promote two-way tourism development cooperation between Vietnam and Kazakhstan held in Astana, Kazakhstan and successfully co-organized the Vietnam Tourism Promotion Program in Europe and Milan held on May 6.
