Vietnam has 9 representatives honored at ASOCIO DX Award 2024. This is one of the prestigious annual awards in the field of information technology in the Asia - Oceania region.
On November 8, the Vietnam Software and Information Technology Services Association (VINASA) announced that Vietnam has 9 units, organizations and individuals honored at the ASOCIO DX Award 2024.
This award is given to organizations, businesses and individuals with outstanding contributions to promoting digital transformation and applying technology in public and private sectors, while affirming the importance of technology in the socio -economic development of countries.
This is one of the prestigious annual awards in the field of information technology in the Asia - Oceania region, organized by the Asia - Oceania Computing Industry Organization (ASOCIO - www.asocio.org), for individuals and businesses from 24 member economies.
The award is part of the ASOCIO Digital Summit 2024 (taking place from November 6-8 in Japan).
In 2024, the ASOCIO DX Award 2024 will be awarded to agencies, organizations, and businesses in 10 categories for the Public and Private sectors, including: Outstanding Technology Enterprise; Smart City; Digital Government; Digital Education; Digital Healthcare , Cybersecurity; ESG (environment, society, governance); Ecosystem and Digital Solutions; Partners and Female Leaders in Technology.
The ASOCIO DX Award 2024 is not only a recognition of outstanding achievements but also an opportunity for Vietnamese units to exchange, learn and share experiences with international countries and organizations.

VINASA and ASOCIO have coordinated to organize a trip for Vietnamese agencies, organizations and enterprises to attend the ASOCIO Digital Summit 2024 in Japan from November 6-8, 2024.
Assessing the significance of this Award for the units and individuals who have just been honored, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Giang - Vice President and General Secretary of VINASA - said: "The ASOCIO Award is an international recognition of the achievements in digital transformation and digital technology application of units and organizations as well as honoring outstanding individuals each year. The winning nominations have contributed to highlighting the image of Vietnam on the digital technology map of the region in particular and the world in general. From there, it inspires units, organizations, governments and people to actively transform digitally, apply technology to bring positive effects in all areas of life."
According to Ms. Giang, the Award is an opportunity for Vietnamese units to exchange, cooperate and continue to promote a strong digital transformation strategy in the economic and social fields. Thereby, we can have a clearer view of the technological capacity of our enterprises and organizations in the context of correlation with developed countries and economies; accurately assess the potential of the regional market; and at the same time expand cooperative relations with enterprises from many countries.
This year, Vietnam has 9 representatives honored at the ASOCIO DX Award 2024, specifically as follows:
1. People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue Province - Smart City Award (ASOCIO Smart City Award)
2. People's Committee of Binh Phuoc Province - Digital Government Award (ASOCIO Digital Government Award)
3. Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology – Digital Education Award (ASOCIO EdTech Award)
4. VinBrain – Digital Health Award (ASOCIO HealthTech Award)
5. Mservice Online Mobile Services Joint Stock Company – ASOCIO Outstanding Tech Organization Award
6. Green and Smart Mobility Joint Stock Company – ESG Award (Environment, Society, Governance) (ASOCIO ESG Award)
7. Sky Joy of Vietjet Air – ASOCIO Emerging Digital Solutions & Ecosystem Award
8. Ms. Chu Thi Thanh Ha - Chairwoman of FPT Software Company Limited, received the ASOCIO Women in Tech Award
9. Ministry of Planning and Investment of Vietnam and FPT IS Company Limited - ASOCIO Public/Private Partnership Award
