Vietnam-Hungary promote cooperation in education and training

Within the framework of activities to strengthen educational and training cooperation between Vietnam and Hungary, Vietnamese Ambassador to Hungary Bui Le Thai, together with ASEAN Ambassadors to Hungary, visited and worked at Győr University - one of Hungary's leading higher education institutions.

Receiving the ASEAN Ambassadors, the leaders of Győr University introduced an overview of the development process, training strengths and strategic orientation of the school. With a scale of more than 14,000 students, including about 1,000 international students from nearly 80 countries around the world, Győr University is increasingly affirming its position in the Hungarian and European higher education system.

At the meeting, Ambassador Bui Le Thai and the leaders of Győr University had an in-depth discussion on the possibility of expanding cooperation in education, training and research between Vietnam and Hungary. In particular, increasing the number of Vietnamese students and postgraduates studying at Győr University in the coming time through scholarship programs of the two governments and other forms, as well as connecting Vietnamese universities and research centers with Győr University.

Ambassador Bui Le Thai's visit to Győr University not only contributes to strengthening the connection between educational institutions of the two countries but also contributes to promoting the comprehensive partnership between Vietnam and Hungary in the field of training and developing high-quality human resources.
