The meeting was co-chaired by Ms. Tran Hai Van, Deputy Director of the Department of International Cooperation (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam) and Mr. Seksun Ngawsuwan, Assistant Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of Thailand. Attending the meeting were representatives of agencies, ministries and sectors of the two countries, including the Vietnam National Tourism Administration, the Ministry of Home Affairs , the Ministry of Education and Training, the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand and the Tourism Authority of Thailand in Ho Chi Minh City.

At the meeting, Ms. Tran Hai Van presented a draft summary report, highly appreciated the results of cooperation over the past time and proposed new directions to deepen bilateral relations in the fields of culture, tourism, sports,education , labor and people-to-people exchange.
Specifically, Vietnam proposed to enhance cooperation in the fields of cultural heritage and museum exchanges, and support each other at multilateral cultural forums. Vietnam also asked Thailand to support the preservation of Vietnamese cultural works and historical relics in Thailand.
In the tourism sector, Vietnam emphasizes sustainable tourism development, promoting the application of digital transformation in tourism management and promotion. In the sports sector, the two sides aim to increase the exchange of delegations, coaches, experts, athletes and cooperate in training young talents; at the same time, support the organization of international sports events in each country.
Regarding education, Vietnam proposed promoting the establishment of a Vietnamese language center in Thailand, contributing to preserving the identity of the Vietnamese community and enhancing mutual understanding between the two countries' young generations. In the field of labor, the two sides aim to resume comprehensive cooperation, including negotiating new cooperation documents.
Regarding people-to-people exchanges, the two sides agreed to continue facilitating exchange activities and supporting the preservation of symbolic works of friendship in Thailand.
Thailand acknowledged and highly appreciated Vietnam's proposals, especially in the field of tourism. Thailand emphasized its desire to enhance cross-border tourism connectivity such as self-driving tourism, expand direct flights, and establish sister-city relationships. Thailand also proposed programs to exchange experiences and improve the capacity of tourism human resources of the two countries.
