Male body found drifting in Ha Long Bay

On the afternoon of July 26, after receiving a report of a body being found drifting in Ha Long Bay, the provincial authorities quickly dispatched personnel and vehicles to the scene.

The male body was found drifting in the area near Hang Trong, about 10km from where the Vinh Xanh ship capsized.

Immediately after receiving the information, the authorities promptly mobilized specialized vehicles and officers and soldiers to the scene, bringing the victim's body ashore.

Authorities carried the victim's body onto the lifeboat...

... and quickly brought back to shore for identification testing.

Authorities are currently verifying to clarify whether this is the last victim still missing at sea in the capsized sightseeing boat Green Bay 58, QN 7105 that occurred on July 19, 2025.
