General Trinh Van Quyet, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, member of the Central Military Commission Standing Committee, Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army attended and directed the congress.

Vi Xuyen Commune Party Committee was established on the basis of merging three Party Committees: Dao Duc Commune, Vi Xuyen Town and Nong Truong Viet Lam Town (formerly belonging to Vi Xuyen District). Currently, the entire Party Committee has 92 branches and affiliated Party Committees with 2,214 Party members.
The Congress identified key targets by 2030, including: total GRDP product value reaching 1,485 billion VND; average income per capita reaching 5.5 million VND/person/month; solidifying 100% of rural roads; reducing the poverty rate to below 1%; the rate of trained workers reaching 75%...

Speaking at the congress, General Trinh Van Quyet emphasized: Vi Xuyen is a historical land, a symbol of patriotism, strong will and great sacrifice. This congress has important political significance, marking a new step in the scale, development space and position of the locality. He requested the Party Committee of Vi Xuyen commune to promote the potential, geographical strengths, revolutionary traditions, and local human resources to complete the goals for the 2025-2030 term; continue to comprehensively lead and direct the Party's new policies, the State's laws, the Party's major strategic decisions, especially the "four pillars" resolutions and effectively operate the 2-level local government model...

At the congress, the Presidium announced the decision of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee on appointing the Commune Party Executive Committee consisting of 28 comrades; the Commune Party Standing Committee consisting of 10 comrades; appointing the Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Inspection Committee and Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Commune Party Committee; and at the same time appointing 4 official delegates and 1 alternate delegate to attend the Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term.

* Previously, on the afternoon of July 25, on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, General Trinh Van Quyet and the Central and Tuyen Quang provincial delegation attended the memorial service and burial of 6 martyrs' remains at Vi Xuyen National Martyrs Cemetery.

In June and July, the Martyrs' Remains Search and Collection Team, Military Command of Tuyen Quang Province searched and collected 6 sets of martyrs' remains at peak 685, peak 211, level 300 in Giang Nam village, Thanh Thuy commune. The 6 sets of remains found have not been identified, but many relics were found along with the remains, which were personal belongings and equipment provided to our army during the period 1979-1989.
In addition, the delegation visited and presented gifts to a number of policy families in Vi Xuyen commune.
