Vietcombank increases preferential credit for agriculture, forestry and fishery to 15 trillion VND

Vietcombank announced that it will continue to expand the program's participants to corporate customers with projects/plans serving agricultural production and business activities, along with customers operating in the forestry and fishery sectors, and increase the scale of the program by 1.5 times, reaching VND 15,000 billion.

The credit program was increased 1.5 times, reaching 15,000 billion VND with the program scope becoming the Credit Program for the agriculture, forestry and fishery sectors.

Implementing the Prime Minister's direction and the State Bank's guidance document on the implementation of the Credit Program for the forestry and fishery sector, in the past time, Vietcombank has actively communicated and implemented the Credit Program for the forestry and fishery sector for customers across the Vietcombank system. Accordingly, by the end of February 2025, Vietcombank had exceeded the disbursement scale of the Program.

In order to improve the effectiveness of the Program's implementation, contributing to the achievement of the country's GDP growth target of 8% in 2025, Vietcombank announced that it will continue to expand the program's participants to corporate customers with projects/plans serving production and business activities in the agricultural sector in parallel with customers operating in the forestry and fishery sectors and increase the scale of the Program by 1.5 times, reaching VND 15,000 billion with the scope of the program becoming a Credit Program for the agricultural, forestry and fishery sectors.

Detailed terms and conditions of the Program are specified in the State Bank's instructions and Vietcombank's instructions.
