VietinBank opens transactions on weekends to serve corporate/business customers to update personal identification information.

In order to comply with the regulations of the State Bank of Vietnam under Circular 17/2024/TT-NHNN on ensuring safety and security in the use of payment accounts; VietinBank opens transactions on weekends to support corporate/business customers in updating their identification information.

From December 14, 2024 to December 28, 2024 , VietinBank will open transaction offices on Saturday and Sunday (from 8:00 to 16:30) . Customers please refer to the list of transaction offices and service hours on weekends in the list of transaction offices.

Trading range:

- Serve customers, organizations/business households, to carry out procedures to change identification information to comply with the regulations in Circular 17/2024/TT-NHNN.

- Customers can go to any VietinBank transaction office according to the above list to update their identification information without having to go to the branch where they opened their payment account.

Important Note:

- According to Circular 17 of the State Bank of Vietnam , from January 1, 2025 , payment account holders/bank card holders will have their withdrawal or payment transactions suspended if the identification information in the registration file with the bank expires.

- According to the 2023 Law on Identification (Law No. 26/2023/QH15), by December 31, 2024 , identity cards (9-digit and 12-digit types) will no longer be valid for use in procedures and transactions.

The profile for changing information of corporate/business customers includes:

- Application for changing payment account information and banking services (according to VietinBank's form).

- Valid identification documents related to information change: Certified copy or present original for VietinBank to receive and compare.

- Change of business registration certificate (in case of change of identification number of legal representative): Certified copy or present original for VietinBank to receive and compare.
