Vietnam Airlines launched its Heritage Guide, a travel guide designed to provide passengers with useful travel information when visiting Vietnam, starting June 15th.

The publication will be released every two months on all domestic and international flights operated by Vietnam Airlines, and will be available free of charge on the Heritage Magazine website through online reading and e-book formats.

Mr. Dang Anh Tuan, Head of Communications at Vietnam Airlines, said that the Heritage Guide publication not only provides information about experiential activities but also encourages visitors to appreciate the beauty of the people and culture at their destination. From there, visitors will find joy and inspiration from new discoveries , whether they are on a short or long trip. The first issue of the Heritage Guide introduces visitors to information for exploring the capital city of Hanoi.

According to Mr. Dang Anh Tuan, the publication is designed as a companion for travelers on Vietnam Airlines flights, aiming to be a useful, friendly, and modern guide. "We hope this new publication will help make passengers' travel journeys across Vietnam easier and more comfortable," Mr. Tuan said.

As the national airline, Vietnam Airlines always focuses on spreading Vietnamese cultural values to the world through various "touchpoints," from brand identity such as the golden lotus logo and flight attendant uniforms in traditional ao dai dresses, to meals featuring authentic Vietnamese cuisine and publications and videos shown on flights.

In 2022, the company invested in a flight safety guide film and a music video titled "Hurry Up!" , spreading the cultural values and tourism beauty of Vietnam and its people. Both products impressed passengers in particular and the public in general, and received a national award for external information organized by the Central Propaganda Department.

A representative of the airline stated that preserving and promoting Vietnamese cultural identity has always been a top priority throughout the company's formation and development. In the future, Vietnam Airlines will continue to upgrade, especially in the service sector, to provide passengers with convenient and modern services while also showcasing the unique cultural characteristics of Vietnam.
