On April 12, 2004, Viettel Tuyen Quang was established, marking the beginning of a military enterprise in the field of telecommunications services, combining national security and defense with economic development in the province. After 20 years, Viettel Tuyen Quang continues to carry out a new mission, the mission of "Pioneering in creating a digital society"; focusing on developing a deep network infrastructure to 7/7 districts and cities, fixed broadband network infrastructure has covered 138/138 communes, wards and towns in the province, mobile coverage to 95% of households.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Viet Phuong emphasized that after 20 years of construction and development, Viettel Tuyen Quang has grown from a Telecommunication Center to become a leading telecommunications and information technology enterprise in the province, participating and making important contributions to socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security and local order and safety.
With the motto of "popularizing" mobile services, Viettel has pioneered the explosion and popularization of mobile services so that people from urban to rural areas can easily access cheap and convenient telephone services. Currently, Viettel has consulted, introduced and deployed many information technology solutions to serve the province's digital transformation process such as: the Provincial Intelligent Operation Center (IOC); consulting on digital transformation solutions for a number of provincial departments and branches; promoting the deployment of digital signature services, electronic invoices, Party Member Management software... to agencies, units and enterprises in the area. In addition, Viettel Tuyen Quang also actively participates in social activities, proactively coordinates and deploys many meaningful social programs and projects in the locality.
