VinFast wins two prestigious awards at Bangkok International Motor Show

On April 6 in Bangkok (Thailand), VinFast announced that it was honored by the Organizing Committee of the Bangkok International Motor Show (BIMS 2024) with two awards: "Best Concept Commercial Electric Vehicle" for VF Wild and "Best Booth Design". The double award at the region's leading auto show affirms the prestige and strong development prospects of the Vietnamese electric car brand in the Southeast Asian market as well as the world. The Professional Council of the BIMS 2024 Organizing Committee includes leading experts in the Thai auto industry, headed by Dr. Prachin Eamlumnow, 45th President of BIMS, CEO of Grand Prix International PCL. The Council voted and awarded the auto brands and products that made the strongest impression on experts, media and consumers at BIMS. In the category "Best Concept Commercial Electric Vehicle", VinFast VF Wild was honored after surpassing a series of products from 49 major brands from around the world such as the US, Germany, Japan or China. The BIMS Professional Council highly appreciated the liberal, powerful, creative design and luxurious, impressive interior of VF Wild. This is the first time VF Wild has been launched in Southeast Asia and the award affirms the Vietnamese car company's creativity, while also showing VF Wild's potential to conquer the number one pickup truck market in Southeast Asia. Previously, the VF Wild model also made a big splash in the world when it was launched at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2024. In the category of "Best Booth Design", VinFast received the highest rating from the Expert Council. According to the Council's experts, VinFast's display area is very prominent and attractive at the exhibition with a diverse electrified product ecosystem including electric motorbikes, mini-eSUV VF 3, electric pickup VF Wild and a range of electric vehicles in the segment from A-SUV to E-SUV, excellently expressing the vision of the future of electrified mobility. At the same time, VinFast's spirit of "Breaking all limits with you" is clearly demonstrated through the 629 m2 space with a liberal and modern design, strongly inspiring consumers on the journey of electrifying transportation.

At the end of February 2024, the Vietnamese electric car company won the “Most Favorite Southeast Asian Brand Debut” and “Best Car Showcase” awards at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2024. The prestigious awards at BIMS and IIMS join the collection of awards that VinFast has reaped over the years, notably the “Innovation Award Honoree” for VinFast MirrorSense, the first automatic mirror adjustment technology using artificial intelligence, at CES 2024; the “Rising Star” award at the Paris Motor Show 2022; and the “Corporate Sustainability Champions” award voted by the ORIGIN Innovation Awards 2022 Council. All of this demonstrates the Vietnamese electric vehicle company's relentless efforts to innovate and dedicate itself to its mission of pioneering in the field of green transportation in the region. In 2024, in addition to key markets such as the US, Canada and Europe, VinFast is strongly expanding to neighboring countries in Asia such as India, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, as well as the Middle East and Africa. In addition to Vietnam, VinFast is also promoting the construction of electric vehicle factories in the US, India and will build a factory in Indonesia.
