In the latest digital industrial property gazette that was recently published, new designs from VinFast unexpectedly appeared, sparking much speculation in online automotive discussion groups on social media.
All three registered products are refined in the SUV style with distinct designs. It is highly likely that these are new models that the Vietnamese domestic automaker may soon launch on the market. This is not surprising, as, as mentioned, this year will be the time for VinFast to refresh its product line, which hasn't received major upgrades in 3-4 years.
The first model may be quite similar in size to the VF 9 but has a more distinctive design. At the front, a horizontal LED light strip spans the entire grille, creating a recognizable VinFast look, and there is no radiator grille. The rear also features a nearly identical taillight design.

With its robust design and dimensions, this is most likely a 7-seater SUV, belonging to the full-size SUV segment. Currently, the VF 9 is VinFast's representative in this vehicle group.
Another vehicle image that appeared in the industrial property registration gazette under the name VinFast is an SUV with a rather familiar rear end.
This SUV also looks quite large, possibly comparable to the VF 8. The rear design is almost identical to the recently upgraded D-segment SUV. However, the front has been refined with many design changes in the front bumper area.

Notably, in addition to the two SUV models with many familiar design elements, VinFast also registered a new vehicle design, featuring a more luxurious and distinctive style.
In the new model, the distinctive wing-shaped taillights at the front and rear are gone, and the familiar styling cues similar to the current product line are also no longer used. This "unusual" SUV also features a rather boxy rear design, and its dimensions seem comparable to some luxury 7-seater SUVs and MPVs on the market.

It's difficult to guess whether these designs will be upgrades to existing models or a new product that VinFast will introduce. Currently, the domestic automaker's SUV product line is almost complete, ranging from mini electric vehicles (VF 3) to full-size SUVs (VF 9).
Perhaps, amidst the influx of new products, VinFast will also bring a more diverse range of products to Vietnamese consumers, not just electric vehicles, but also plug-in hybrids or even EREVs - long-range hybrids.
It can be said that VinFast's registration of patents for three SUV models, with designs ranging from familiar to unconventional, shows that the domestic electric vehicle manufacturer is not stopping at its current product range but is constantly innovating. Vietnamese consumers can certainly look forward to further official information regarding the technical specifications and launch date of this strategic vehicle lineup in the near future.
