VinFast increases warranty to 6 years for electric motorbikes, 8 years for batteries

VinFast recently announced the application of a 6-year genuine warranty policy for vehicles and 8 years for batteries, with no mileage limit for all electric motorbike models using LFP batteries, effective from August 15.

This is a significantly higher warranty than before, usually only about 3 years for the body and 3 - 4 years for the battery, depending on the car model and battery type.

According to VinFast, the new policy will help users feel more secure during use, while affirming the company's commitment to product quality.

With a warranty period of up to 8 years, the LFP battery on VinFast electric motorbikes is currently one of the components with the longest warranty on the market.

LFP batteries have the advantages of long life, stable performance, good heat resistance and are safer in case of fire or explosion compared to many conventional batteries.

In addition, this type of battery does not contain rare metals such as cobalt or nickel. Currently, VinFast equips LFP batteries for most of its car models, including Evo Grand, Evo 200 Lite, Feliz S, Klara S2, Klara Neo, Theon S, Vento S and Vento Neo.

Mr. Hoang Ha - Deputy General Director of VinFast electric motorbike sales - said the new warranty period is twice as long as many traditional gasoline vehicles on the market.

In addition to extending the warranty period, VinFast also applies a number of incentives for customers buying electric motorbikes, including free battery charging at V-Green stations nationwide until May 31, 2027.

In Hanoi , An Giang (until October 24) and Ho Chi Minh City (until October 31), the company offers 100% registration fee, an additional 10% reduction in vehicle price and installment support of up to 90% of vehicle value.

In addition, VinFast cooperated with the dealer system to organize a series of events "Exchange gasoline for electricity - create a green future with VinFast" in many localities, to support people to switch from gasoline cars to electric cars.

Currently, the company owns nearly 500 stores and about 400 electric motorbike service workshops nationwide.
