Honoring outstanding businesses and individuals in the bird's nest industry in 2024

The conference presented the 2024 activity report; 2024 financial report; publicized revenue, expenditure, and funding; and 2025 operational direction. In addition, the conference also shared the content of building a method to trace the origin of bird's nests, ensuring food safety and quality for bird's nest exporting enterprises.

Honoring typical bird's nest industry enterprises in 2024.

Up to now, the whole country has more than 22,000 birdhouses, distributed in 42/63 provinces and cities. The Mekong Delta has about 10,500 birdhouses (accounting for 44.7%, concentrated in Kien Giang and Tien Giang provinces). The Southeast region has about 5,900 birdhouses (accounting for 25%), the South Central region has more than 4,900 birdhouses (accounting for 21%), the Central Highlands has about 1,900 birdhouses (accounting for 8.4%). The northern provinces alone raise only about 240 birdhouses. Vietnam's birdhouse output is currently about 150 - 200 tons/year, with an estimated economic value of 500 to 600 million USD.

At the conference, Mr. Bui Bang Son, Director of Tri Son Trading and Service Co., Ltd. said that the company currently owns a modern factory system that meets traceability standards, with a capacity to refine more than 50 tons of bird's nest and 36 million jars of ready-made bird's nest per year, meeting official export standards.

In addition, the company is constantly innovating and developing many diverse product lines such as: Bird's nest essence, freeze-dried bird's nest products... to reach many market segments, meeting the increasing needs of consumers.

Regarding raw materials, the company focuses on building a sustainable chain of links with bird nest farming households across the South. Up to now, Tri Son's bird nest house system has reached 253 bird nest houses, with identification codes and a total area of ​​over 80,000 m². At the same time, it provides consulting and processing of bird nest products for business units.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Luu Van Phi said that in 2024, the Vietnam Bird's Nest Association had done a lot of work; at the same time, he congratulated the achievements of members and enterprises in 2024. Through monitoring, the Industry and Trade sector saw that the bird's nest industry had great development.

From small-scale farming households, exploiting raw bird's nests, enterprises have invested and changed a lot to process and develop products from bird's nests, this is a very encouraging sign. Comrade Luu Van Phi agreed with the direction of operation of the Association in 2025.

At the same time, note some contents for the sustainable development of the bird's nest industry, in which the focus is on ensuring quality compared to the declared content. The Department of Industry and Trade and related sectors will work closely with enterprises to develop the bird's nest industry. Recently, the leaders of Tien Giang province approved the policy of establishing the Tien Giang Bird's Nest Association, which is a very encouraging sign.

On this occasion, the Vietnam Bird's Nest Association admitted new members. At the same time, it honored outstanding businesses and individuals in the bird's nest industry in 2024; launched the movement "Building a brand for community health"; and auctioned bird's nest paintings to serve social work.
