Vinicius Junior's contract negotiations with Real Madrid have stalled since the beginning of the year due to the Brazilian's high salary demands. However, according to ESPN , Vinicius's representatives, including two "super agents" Fred Pena and Thássilo Soares, are looking to speed up the negotiation process this month.

They asked Real Madrid to raise the player's fixed salary to 25 million euros per season, with bonuses that could reach 30 million euros. Vinicius currently receives a salary of about 15 million euros per season (17 million euros including bonuses) at Real Madrid. The new salary could make Vinicius go down in Real Madrid history as the second player after Ronaldo to receive a total income of 30 million euros in a year.

Real Madrid's current salary cap is only 20 million euros/year (including bonuses), the amount Kylian Mbappe is receiving. Vinicius' current contract with Real Madrid runs until the summer of 2027. However, the offer from "Los Blancos" at the beginning of the summer did not meet the player's expectations.

Real Madrid offered a fixed salary of 20 million euros without an additional 10 million euros in bonuses, which Vinícius' team considered too low, causing the player to start considering other options.

President Florentino Perez is also ready to replace Vinicius in case he decides to leave. However, Real Madrid's leadership still hopes that Vinícius will adjust some of his requests in the coming time to reach a common agreement.
