VN-Index fell nearly 7 points despite support from real estate stocks

The trading session on September 19 ended with red dominating the stock market due to widespread profit-taking pressure, especially in the banking group. However, the decrease was not large thanks to support from the real estate group, especially VIC shares. At the end of the session, VN-Index decreased by 6.56 points, down to 1,658.62 points.

Market liquidity was low, with total trading volume on the three exchanges reaching more than 1,044 million shares, equivalent to a total trading value of more than VND31,145 billion.

Foreign investors sold strongly for the 9th consecutive session on all 3 floors, more than 2,968 billion VND, focusing on codes VHM (467.37 billion VND), SSI (433.81 billion VND), STB (282.86 billion VND), VIX (202.08 billion VND), VCB (162.67 billion VND)...

In the opposite direction, the codes that were net bought a lot in this session includedFPT (317.86 billion VND), HPG (138.46 billion VND), GEE (60.14 billion VND), LPB (43.37 billion VND), HVN (540.95 billion VND)...

On the HoSE floor, the matched order value this session increased compared to the previous session, reaching more than VND 27,262 billion.

In this session, the codes that contributed positively to the VN-Index increasing by more than 10.5 points included: VIC, LPB, GEE, NVL, KDH, HPG, VCF, GEX, CII, NT2.

On the contrary, the codes that negatively impacted the VN-Index by more than 10.14 points included: VCB, VHM, BID, HVN, STB, VNM, VPB, TCB, VIX, BSR .

Real estate stocks this session leaned towards green and increased by 1.5%, mainly from codes VIC, KDH, NVL, KSF, DXG, PDR, DIG, SNZ, TAL, CEO... On the contrary, the codes that decreased included VHM, BCM, VRE, KBC, SJS, VPI, NLG, SIP, TCH, IDC, DXS...

Energy stocks this session were mostly red, down 1.68%, mainly from codes BSR, PLX, PVS, PVD, PVP, PVC, VTO, VIP, PVB, CST... Increasing direction included codes GSP, POS, AAH, VTV, HLC, PJT...

* At the Hanoi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index closed at 276.24 points, down 0.68 points (-0.25%). Liquidity reached a total of more than 69.01 million shares transferred, with a corresponding trading value of more than VND 1,523.85 billion. * At the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange, the VN-Index closed down 6.56 points (-0.39%) to 1,658.62 points. Liquidity reached over 927.99 million units, equivalent to a trading value of VND29,161.14 billion. The entire floor had 133 stocks increasing, 58 stocks remaining unchanged and 189 stocks decreasing.

The VN30 Index decreased by 2.21 points (-0.12%) and stopped at 1,859.53 points. Liquidity reached more than 409.71 million units, equivalent to a transaction value of more than VND 16,497.6 billion. The VN30 group of stocks ended the trading day with 4 stocks increasing, 2 stocks remaining unchanged and 24 stocks decreasing.
