(Dan Tri) - Foreign investors continued to net sell in today's trading session, despite the stock market maintaining green.
At the end of the trading session this afternoon (February 5), the stock market increased by 4.93 points, approaching the 1,270 point mark. Green covered the market with 270 stocks increasing on the HoSE floor and 85 stocks increasing on the HNX floor. Market liquidity remained low, reaching over VND 13,343 billion.
Foreign investors (often referred to as "sharks") continued to have a net selling session of more than 379 billion VND on both exchanges.

On the buying side, HPG shares of Hoa Phat Group were bought the most on HoSE with a value of over 60 billion VND. Some other shares were also bought a lot by foreign investors such as DIG (46 billion VND), PDR (43 billion VND), LPB (37 billion VND).
On the selling side, SSI shares of SSI Securities were sold the most (67 billion VND), followed by CTG of VietinBank (63 billion VND), FRT (61 billion VND), VRE (44 billion VND), MWG (Mobile World (44 billion VND).
Quoc Cuong Gia Lai 's QCG shares, after two consecutive days of ceiling price increases, decreased 0.84% in today's session, to VND11,800/unit.
DIG shares unexpectedly hit the ceiling price at the end of the session to 18,900 VND/unit. Investors seem to like this stock code when there were no sellers, with over 347,600 units remaining at the ceiling price. The trading volume of the stock exploded in today's session with over 24.1 million units, many times higher than other days.
