In the first 8 months of the year alone, Ho Chi Minh City attracted 1,200 newly licensed projects and more than 300 projects with increased capital. These mainly focused on high-tech fields, technology equipment manufacturing, semiconductors, pharmaceuticals, or urban, service and seaport projects.

Ho Chi Minh City possesses key factors to attract foreign investment such as favorable location for logistics, domestic and export goods transportation, transparent legal corridor, and mechanisms to create favorable conditions for investors....

Mr. Do Thien Anh Tuan - Economic Expert, Lecturer at Fulbright University Vietnam assessed: "Becoming a megacity, potential advantages will converge and those are huge advantages for Ho Chi Minh City to stand out compared to other localities in the country".
