Ex-wife hints at Totti's affair

Italy Model Ilary Blasi, ex-wife of Francesco Totti, revealed that the Roma legend was both jealous and showed signs of infidelity before the couple broke up.

More than a year after officially divorcing Totti, model Blasi spoke to the Italian media to share more about the reasons for the breakup. In the interview, Blasi said that Totti was often jealous and patriarchal.

"It took me a year and a half to understand what was going on," Blasi said. "Totti has always been jealous, that's nothing new. He also made me leave my job and social media to devote more to the family. Maybe he was confused, scared and took the easy way out. As a wife and mother, I did everything to keep the marriage."

The Totti couple was once considered the "Beckham of Italy" with a fairytale marriage between a charming footballer and a beautiful model and MC. The handsome couple started dating in 2002, got married three years later and the wedding was televised. After 20 years together, Totti and Ilary Blasi have three children. However, since 2021, they have rarely interacted on social media and are said to have separated since 2020. In July 2022, the iconic Italian couple finalized their divorce.

"Were there other betrayals? Probably, but I don't have proof," Blasi replied when asked if Totti had an affair before they separated. "In my heart, I think the answer is yes."

Totti once said he was depressed when he learned his wife was secretly having an affair with a fitness trainer. He then met and fell in love with the beautiful Noemi Bocchi while Blasi was with her lover. "I tried to overcome the crisis to save the marriage in the past few months but failed. I respect Blasi and will raise three children with her," Totti said when announcing the divorce in mid-2022.
