Vietnamese boxer overwhelmingly defeated Chinese opponent at MMA Championship 24
Two Vietnamese martial artists, Ha The Anh and Nguyen Thanh Thoang, have successfully defeated two opponents from China at the MMA Championship 24 free martial arts event in Hanoi.

In the first match of MMA Striking 56kg, Tran Huy Hai won by unanimous decision after three rounds. The match opened with beautiful strikes from both fighters. From the second round, Huy Hai showed his superior experience, continuously delivering accurate strikes and performing effective takedowns. Meanwhile, Le Quang Tri was indecisive and did not create enough pressure. The third round continued to favor Huy Hai with his flexible movements and ability to control the game, bringing a convincing victory. In the next match, MMA Striking 65kg, Luu Huy Duc won by a split point after three dramatic rounds. Right from the first round, Huy Duc closed in, attacked repeatedly and controlled the match. In the second round, he continued to put pressure, while Dinh Van Can began to lose strength and was hit hard at the end of the round. In the third round, the pressure increased, Huy Duc continuously pressed the field, forcing his opponent to defend passively. The match ended in tension with a well-deserved victory for the more courageous fighter. In the third match of MMA Striking in the 56kg category, Vo Tien Dat won by knocking out Ly Duol in the second round. Right from the first round, the Muay Thai champion from the land of the Golden Temple - Vo Tien Dat - overwhelmed his opponent with a rapid pace and superior confidence. Ly Duol tried to fight back with counter-attacks, but was not enough to create clear pressure. In the second round, the match was still in the hands of Vo Tien Dat. A powerful high kick from him made Ly Duol fall, forcing the referee to stop the match. A neat and impressive victory for the experienced fighter. In the MMA Pro 65kg match, Harry Smith won by TKO in the second round after a series of knee strikes. Right from the start of the match, Pham Anh Duc was bleeding after his opponent approached and attacked him on the mat. In the second round, despite trying to create a stalemate, a stumble caused Anh Duc to lose his position, allowing Smith to lock his arms, strangle him, and deliver consecutive knee strikes, forcing the referee to stop the match. In the 5th MMA Pro 56kg match, Liam Arnold won a submission (rear naked choke) against Bui Phong Son in the first round. The match took place at a high speed, Bui Phong Son surprised with a series of strong blows that made Liam stagger. However, when he brought his opponent to the floor, Liam quickly took an advantageous position and tightened the choke, ending the match with technique and convincingly.
In the 60kg MMA Pro match, Danh Quoc won by KOing Dinh Trung Hieu in the first round with a spinning back kick. With just one strike, Danh Quoc - nicknamed "Vietnamese Conor" - ended the match with a spinning kick to the liver, causing Dinh Trung Hieu to collapse and wave his hand to stop the match. A quick, clean and powerful victory, just as Danh Quoc had declared before the match. The highlight of the event was 3 matches in the 2-on-2 format (MMA DUO), men's 130kg category. In the first match, Dong Son (Vietnam) won after 38 seconds over Phnom Penh (Cambodia). Right from the start of the match, the home team entered the match fiercely and suddenly changed the direction of attack, creating a 2-on-1 situation that put Phnom Penh on the defensive. Despite their efforts to fight back, the Cambodian representative was quickly subdued. A strategic, quick and satisfying victory for Dong Son. In the second MMA DUO match, Au Lac (Vietnam) won an emotional victory over Angkor Wat (Cambodia). The match was tense from the start, with fierce blows and bloodshed. All four fighters fought like warriors, not only for victory but also for national spirit. Despite overwhelming efforts, fighter Sot Seyha (Angkor Wat) was forced to leave the ring after being exhausted. Au Lac's victory was a testament to their strong will and effective tactics. In the final MMA DUO match, Manh Long Dai Viet (Vietnam) convincingly defeated Phong Hoa Son Lam (China), helping the home team win all three pairs of matches. Ha The Anh accepted to be locked to create an opportunity for Thanh Thoan to launch a series of punches that caused Truong Yen Long to bleed, forcing the referee to stop the match. The satisfying victory ended the match night with enthusiastic cheers at Tay Ho Stadium ( Hanoi ).
