CHILL CLUB Chart Award Presentation 23/24 is one of the biggest music awards ceremonies in Hong Kong. The ticketed event was organized by ViuTV and attracted 10,000 spectators. In addition to famous stars in Hong Kong, the program also featured many international guest artists from England, Japan, Taiwan (China)... Vu. is the first Vietnamese representative to attend and perform on stage at this annual awards ceremony.

At the Awards Ceremony, Vu. and Dear Jane created memorable moments with a special performance called "Dear Vu. Universe". For the first time, the hit "Forgotten Promises" was performed live in Hong Kong. Tim - the singer of Dear Jane surprised everyone when she and Vu. performed the song in Vietnamese. Afterwards, the entire audience almost burst into tears when they saw Vu. singing in Cantonese, harmonizing with Dear Jane in their famous song "2084".

Hong Kong stars were surprised and excited to hear Vu sing in Cantonese.

Not only was the impressive language exchange performance enthusiastically supported by the audience present at the show, it also received a "storm of compliments" from viewers watching live via livestream throughout Hong Kong. The local audience was "overwhelmed" by Vu's standard Cantonese pronunciation, and the male singer's performance with the band Dear Jane was also considered one of the most impressive performances. In addition, many audiences also expressed their love for Vietnamese music. Many people hope that Vu will soon return to Hong Kong to perform in the future.

While preparing for the performance, instead of writing additional lyrics in Vietnamese and Cantonese for the two songs, both Vu. and Dear Jane were excited about learning and trying out a new language. Although they could not meet in person, the artists still kept in touch regularly, spending time on video calls, giving transcription instructions, correcting mistakes, and practicing together.

Vu. also shared that his special love for Chinese popular culture has been spread to the audience from the Album project "Ten Thousand Years" (2022). The journey from the beginning of performing the song "Forgotten Promises" with Dear Jane to the meaningful collaboration stage at the recent Awards Ceremony has brought him many firsts and memorable milestones in his music career.

Released at the end of 2023, the song "Forgotten Promises" not only topped the Vietnamese music charts, but also received attention in the international market. The song once ranked #60 on Spotify's Global Trending Music Chart, and #31 in Hong Kong. Following those successes, Vu. brought the song to a big stage in Hong Kong, spreading Vietnamese music to audiences there.

The performance not only marks a new milestone for Vu. in the international music market, but is also a meaningful moment, demonstrating the borderless exchange and connection between artists. In addition, Vu.'s most anticipated project will also be revealed soon in the second half of this year.
