Dak Nong commune owes money for food: Consider not arranging jobs after merger

Dak Nong province requested the People's Committee of Dak R'lap district to inspect and completely handle the debts of Kien Duc town and Kien Thanh commune before merging.

On June 8, information from the Dak Nong Department of Home Affairs said that it had sent a document requesting the People's Committee of Dak R'lap district to review and handle information related to 2 localities owing money for meals, stationery, etc.

Specifically, the Dak Nong Department of Home Affairs requested the People's Committee of Dak R'lap district to conduct inspections and verifications according to its authority with relevant collectives and individuals and direct handling before merging commune-level administrative units.

After verification, if individuals or groups violate, they will be held responsible according to the provisions of law.

Besides, Dak R'lap district is considering not arranging individuals who violated the personnel plan when merging commune-level units in this period until they are completely handled.

Dak Nong Department of Home Affairs requested Dak R'lap District People's Committee to urgently deploy and report before 4:00 p.m. on June 9 to report to Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee.

Previously, Dak Nong Newspaper reported that a restaurant in Dak R'lap district reported that officials of Kien Thanh commune and Kien Duc town owed nearly 180 million VND for food and water for 9 years and still have not paid.

After the article was published, many more businesses in Dak R'lap district continued to report that they had been owing money for purchases for many years in these two localities. The debts for stationery, fresh flowers, water, etc. totaled about 170 million VND.
