As the fastest Thai film to reach the $1 million mark in Vietnam, the crew of Tee Yod: Ghost Eater Part 2 confirmed that they will come to Vietnam to meet on October 19.
According to the representative of the distributor CJ HK, after opening early screenings from October 10, the Thai horror film Tee Yod: Ghost Eater Part 2 (original title: Tee Yod 2 ) quickly earned 1 million USD (equivalent to 25 billion VND) with more than 333,000 tickets sold. With this achievement, the film has set a record for the fastest Thai film to reach the 1 million USD mark of all time in Vietnam.

Up to now, the film has continuously maintained its position as the Top 1 box office with overwhelming screenings. Due to the great demand from the audience, the film distributor and theaters nationwide decided to open additional early screenings from October 14th before the official opening on October 18th.
With the positive results mentioned above, the actors in the film including Nadech Kugimiya (as Yak), Denise Jelilcha Kapaun (as Yad), Nutthacha Jessica Padovan (as Yee) and some members of the film crew will come to Vietnam to exchange on October 19. The event will take place at CGV Vincom Landmark 81 (772 Dien Bien Phu, Ward 22, Binh Thanh District, HCMC).
Before coming to Vietnam, actor Nadech Kugimiya recorded a short video greeting the audience. In the video , the actor practiced speaking Vietnamese with the call "Vietnamese audience" in a very friendly and close way. In addition, the actor from the land of golden pagodas sent his thanks to the Vietnamese audience for loving and supporting the movie Tee Yod: Ghost Eater Part 2 .
In the film, Nadech plays a strong, responsible older brother who is willing to sacrifice for his family. His role has left a strong impression on the audience, not only because of his "top-notch" appearance but also because of his acting talent and the emotions he brings to the character.
Accompanying Nadech on the film promotion trip in Vietnam is Denise Jelilcha Kapaun. The actress born in 2007 plays Yad - the eldest sister in the family, who always loves and protects her younger sisters.
Child star Nutthacha Jessica Padovan, who plays the youngest Yee, will also follow her older brother Yak and sister Yad to Vietnam for the film's promotional tour. Although she is the youngest actress in the film, she really shines in the film, even "stealing the spotlight" with many scary and valuable scenes.
Tee Yod: Organ-Eating Demon Part 2 continues the story from Part 1, telling the story of Yak's family life three years after Yam died from a demon possessing his body and eating away at his internal organs. Despite his family's advice, Yak still searches day and night for clues about the mysterious black-clothed spirit to avenge his sister.
He discovers that the organ-eating demon, raised and controlled by a powerful shaman named Puang, is living in seclusion in the “dead forest” of Khamod. While Yak embarks on a bloody revenge in the deep forest, the family is preparing for Yad’s wedding. Little do they know that the organ-eating demon has returned and plunged the family into a terrifying obsession once again.
Tee Yod: The Ghost Eater Part 2 is showing in theaters nationwide.
