Navy Region 3 examines and provides free medicine to people

On December 11 and 12, Naval Region 3 organized free medical examinations and medicine for 300 people in Thua Thien Hue .

The health examination team of the Naval Region 3 Command, led by Lieutenant Colonel Tran Hoang An - Deputy Head of Logistics - Technical Region, and the Propaganda Department of Thua Thien Hue Provincial Party Committee coordinated to organize health examinations, provide consultations and distribute free medicine to people in the communes of Quang Ngan, Quang Cong (Quang Dien) and Dien Hai, Phong Hai (Phong Dien).

The delegation examined, performed ultrasounds, performed electrocardiograms, provided health consultations and provided free medicine to more than 300 people from policy families, poor households and near-poor households in the four communes mentioned above with a total amount of more than 100 million VND.

This is a very practical activity to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2024) and the 35th National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 - December 22, 2024).

At the same time, it is also an activity in the program of coordinating propaganda on seas and islands between the Navy Region 3 Command and the coastal provinces and cities of the Central region and the Program of combining military and civilian medicine to take care of people's health until 2030 approved by the Prime Minister; aiming to promote the combined strength of both military and civilian medical forces in strengthening grassroots health care , caring for and protecting the health of people, soldiers, policy beneficiaries, families with meritorious services to the revolution in the border and islands; combining the implementation of propaganda activities on seas and islands.

Thereby, further strengthening the medical-military potential, tightening the solidarity between the army and the people, building and consolidating the national defense and people's security, contributing to maintaining the sacred sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland in the new situation.
