Preserve and promote cultural values

Binh Thuan is a land rich in cultural identity, converging many unique cultural features of the community of 35 ethnic groups who are joining hands to build and develop their homeland. Preserving and promoting valuable cultural assets, considering this as the spiritual foundation, a breakthrough driving force for socio-economic development, including tourism development, a comprehensive economic sector is a direction that has been and is being effectively implemented by Binh Thuan province, contributing to positioning the local tourism brand. After more than 300 years of formation and development, Binh Thuan has become a land rich in cultural traditions with quite rich and diverse festivals, typically: Dinh Thay Thim Festival, Nghinh Ong Festival, Kate Festival, Cau Yen Festival, Mid-Autumn Lantern Festival.
In addition, every time Tet comes, spring comes, there are also some exciting festivals such as: Boat Racing Festival on Ca Ty River, Ta Cu Mountain Climbing Competition... This is also an opportunity to attract domestic and foreign tourists to Binh Thuan. In addition to the above festivals, people in the province also organize many festivals such as Doan Ngo Festival, Buddha's Birthday, Christmas, International Windsurfing Festival... to promote and introduce the tourism image of Binh Thuan.
Building and developing Binh Thuan culture and people to contribute to the comprehensive development of Vietnamese people, meeting the requirements of sustainable development is an important task of the entire political system. Therefore, Party committees at all levels have paid attention to building codes of conduct and popularizing them in the community, building standards of cultural and human values, creating an environment and conditions for the development of personality, ethics, intelligence, creativity, physical strength, soul, social responsibility, civic duty, and awareness of law compliance. At the same time, promoting patriotism, national pride, conscience, and responsibility of each person to themselves, to their families, communities, society, and country. Thereby, contributing to raising the awareness of cadres, party members, and the masses in building and developing culture, promoting traditional values of Vietnamese people in the province.
In addition, Party committees and organizations at all levels also identified the building and development of Vietnamese culture and people as an important task throughout the period of industrialization and modernization of the country. Accordingly, it is necessary to continue to strengthen propaganda work, raise awareness within the Party, the political system and the whole society about the position and role of the cause of building and developing Vietnamese culture and people so that each cadre, party member and citizen can uphold the exemplary role, attach importance to building culture from within the Party and the state apparatus, the important content of which is to study and follow the ideology, morality and style of Ho Chi Minh.

Continue to implement the Resolution of the Central Executive Committee of the Party

In the past 10 years (2014 - 2024), under the leadership of the Provincial Party Committee and the direction of the Provincial People's Committee, the cause of building and developing culture and people of Binh Thuan has achieved positive results. In order to promote the effective implementation of Resolution No. 33 - NQ/TW of the Central Executive Committee of the Party (11th tenure), in the coming time, the Provincial Party Committee has requested departments, branches, organizations and localities in the province to continue to raise awareness of cadres, party members, members and people about the meaning and importance of building and developing Vietnamese culture and people to meet the requirements of sustainable development of the country as determined by the 13th National Party Congress. Deploying the construction and completion of the system of cultural values and regulations on standards for Binh Thuan people associated with preserving and developing the system of Vietnamese family values. At the same time, pay attention to building culture in the Party and the political system, ensuring the connection between the central task of economic development, Party building and rectification as the key, and constantly improving culture. Prioritize investment of resources for preserving and promoting traditional cultural values, integrating economic development programs with promoting local cultural identity. Integrate the program of cultural and artistic heritage education, especially traditional culture and art of ethnic groups in the province into teaching in schools. Continue to effectively implement the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" associated with the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas, civilized urban areas" and emulation movements in villages and neighborhoods in the period of 2025 - 2030 and the following years in the right direction. Promoting the role of literature and art in orienting tastes, aesthetics, nurturing the soul, emotions, intelligence, life skills, aiming at perfecting the personality of each individual and society. Actively organizing the promotion and introduction of cultural and artistic values, the image of the country and people of Binh Thuan abroad, at the same time effectively implementing the work of preventing and combating social evils, solutions to prevent moral and lifestyle degradation, and repelling social negativity. Building and developing Vietnamese culture and people to meet the requirements of sustainable national development continues to be an important and necessary task.
