Xuan Son National Park is among 61 potential locations for national tourism development.

The Prime Minister has just approved the Tourism System Planning for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2045, to prioritize synchronous investment and improve the quality of recognized national tourist areas, while planning and investing in infrastructure and attracting investment in facilities to promote potential locations for national tourism development.

Xuan Son National Park, Tan Son district is among 61 potential locations for developing national tourist areas.

In the list of 61 planned locations, Xuan Son National Park, Tan Son district is among 15 potential locations for developing national tourism areas in the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2045 in the Northern Midlands and Mountains region.

National tourist areas are identified as important nuclei to attract investment in a concentrated and effective manner, thereby creating driving forces for tourism development in regions and localities and having important significance in building brands and images for destinations.

Accordingly, Vietnam will focus on developing key product lines such as sea and island tourism; eco-tourism; cultural tourism; urban tourism; tourism combined with medical treatment and health care; agricultural and rural tourism; sports tourism and products serving other diverse needs such as MICE tourism, educational tourism, cruise tourism and beauty tourism.

In particular, focus on optimally exploiting marine and island tourism resources to develop tourism products that can compete with other countries in the region in terms of marine resorts, marine ecology and cruise tourism.
