An Chau commune strengthens organization to prepare for congress

Standing Committee of An Chau Commune Party Committee presents decisions on organization and personnel work.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of An Chau Commune, Le Ho Ngoc Trung, said that after implementing the merger policy, the Party Executive Committee of the commune immediately got to work, focusing on leading and directing the implementation of the political tasks of the new Party Committee and commune government. Up to now, the commune has basically completed the arrangement of headquarters, the arrangement of cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers, especially the preparation work for the Party Congress of the commune for the 2025-2030 term.

An Chau Commune Party Committee currently has 42 Party organizations, including 7 grassroots Party organizations and 35 affiliated Party cells, with a total of 1,443 Party members. The Party Committee of the Commune has directed the Party cells and affiliated Party cells to actively implement and thoroughly grasp the directives and instructions of the Central and Provincial Party Committees on the preparation of Party congresses at all levels; establish sub-committees to serve the congresses; draft a political report and personnel plan.

The Party Committee Standing Committee has assigned members in charge of the area to regularly inspect and guide the subordinate party organizations in preparing for the congress. Up to now, An Chau commune has had 36 grassroots party organizations and subordinate party cells that have completed their congresses; the remaining 6 party organizations established after the merger will hold their congresses in July. The commune Party Committee plans to hold its congress in August, under the direction of the Provincial Party Committee. The Party Committee Standing Committee has directed the Party Building Committee to coordinate with relevant units to urgently develop and agree on the program and script for the congress, focusing on preparing documents and personnel.

The documents closely follow reality, accurately forecast the situation, clearly identify key tasks, breakthroughs and feasible solutions for the coming term. The organization of the Congress is carried out in accordance with the Party's regulations and principles, especially the principle of democratic centralism; fully promoting the role and responsibility of the Party Committee, Party organizations and leaders. The Congress is prepared in a safe, practical, economical and effective manner; resolutely fighting waste and negativity.

The An Chau Commune Party Committee also organized a thorough and in-depth discussion of the viewpoints, goals and major policies stated in the draft documents submitted to the Congress. The political report was constructed objectively, honestly and comprehensively, correctly assessing the results of the implementation of the resolution of the past term, especially the key tasks in Party building, socio -economic development, ensuring national defense and security, and fighting against corruption and negativity. At the same time, it pointed out the advantages, limitations, causes and lessons learned to propose directions and tasks for the new term that are close to reality.

Along with that, the Commune Party Committee pays special attention to political, ideological and propaganda work to create high consensus among cadres, party members and people; repelling negativity with positivity, "using beauty to eliminate ugliness". The government also focuses on thoroughly resolving long-standing problems and shortcomings, issues of concern to cadres, party members and people; striving to successfully complete socio-economic development, national defense and security tasks, associated with promoting patriotic emulation movements.

Party member Truong Thi Thu Hong, residing in Hoa Hung hamlet, expects: “After the merger, An Chau commune has a large area and a large population, so the commune Party Committee needs to propose breakthrough solutions to develop the economy and society in a sustainable way. I hope the new term Party Committee will pay more attention to digital transformation, administrative reform, education and improving people's lives.”

In addition, we listened to and synthesized the opinions of cadres and Party members to build a draft congress document that is close to reality, reflecting the aspirations and will of the people.
