Bang Hanh Commune held an incense offering ceremony at the national historical site of Trong Con Sub-region.

On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), Bang Hanh commune has just held an incense offering ceremony at the national historical site of Trong Con Sub-area.

Leaders, cadres, party members and people of Bang Hanh commune offered incense to commemorate the heroes at the national historical site of Trong Con Sub-region.

Implementing President Ho Chi Minh 's Directive, on June 1, 1945, the Vietnam Propaganda Liberation Army Team departed from Cao Bang to operate in Bang Hanh commune with 54 soldiers. Here, the people of the communes elected the Commune Administrative Committee and established a self-defense team; these communes formed a revolutionary base named after the communist soldier Ly Tu Trong, which the people in the area affectionately called the Trong Con Sub-region.

On June 24, 1945, a large rally at the foot of Thac Ve Bridge announced the abolition of the feudal government, the establishment of the Revolutionary Administrative Committee and the Viet Minh Front. From Trong Con District, the revolutionary movement spread throughout the regions, contributing to the victory of the national liberation revolution in August 1945.

In a solemn atmosphere, the commune leaders, along with a large number of cadres, party members and people, respectfully offered incense to commemorate the merits of previous revolutionary generations; and reviewed the heroic and resilient fighting tradition of the local army and people.

Leaders of Bang Hanh commune visited and presented gifts to families of martyrs on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.

Along with the incense offering ceremony, Bang Hanh commune organized many practical and meaningful activities such as: launching sports clubs and men's football exchanges; launching a communist labor movement, general cleaning and clearing of roads; organizing a ceremony to award Party badges for 60, 55, 45, 40, 30 years of Party membership to 13 party members; presenting 70 gifts to meritorious people and policy families.

The commemorative activities have contributed to educating the tradition of patriotism, arousing national pride, creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere in the entire Party Committee and people of all ethnic groups in the commune, joining hands to build the homeland to become increasingly prosperous, beautiful and civilized.
