It is known that Dien Dien commune has prepared 3 storm response mobile teams (headed by the Chairman of the Commune People's Committee and Vice Chairmen of the Commune People's Committee), stationed at 3 locations: Commune Military Command, Commune People's Committee headquarters, and Commune Party Committee headquarters. The team is responsible for quickly mobilizing to points and villages in the area to support the emergency evacuation of residents in low-lying areas, at risk of flooding and landslides; supporting people to reinforce their houses and properties; participating in rescue and relief operations when incidents occur; organizing guards and blocking off underground areas, overflowing areas, deeply flooded roads, and fast-flowing water, not allowing people and vehicles to pass through.
Currently, the village chiefs of 17 villages have assigned tasks and arranged specific schedules for each member; planned to set up checkpoints to prevent people from passing through vulnerable areas, and deployed to evacuate people to safe locations when directed by superiors. The villages have also increased propaganda for people to monitor the storm's developments and water regulation; asked people to proactively reinforce houses, advertising signs, livestock and poultry barns, and trim trees; reminded people in low-lying areas to proactively raise their assets, limit their movement through vulnerable areas that are often deeply flooded; people living at the foot of Hon Ngang mountain and along Cai river are alert to the risk of landslides when heavy rains occur...
