Que Son Trung commune launches Month of Action for Children

DNO - The People's Committee of Que Son Trung commune recently launched the "Month of Action for Children," the "National Month of Action on Prevention and Control of Domestic Violence" in 2026, and inaugurated summer activities for 2026.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Phan Duy Thanh, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Que Son Trung commune, said that this year, the Month of Action for Children has the theme "Happy, safe, and confident children in the digital age".

Over the years, with the attention of all levels of government, sectors, and society as a whole, the work of protecting, caring for, and educating children in the commune has achieved many positive results.

Many programs and policies for children have been effectively implemented; the living, learning, and playing environments for children are constantly improving.

In particular, many children from disadvantaged backgrounds have received attention, support, and opportunities to excel in their studies and lives.

Organizing this year's action month is of paramount importance in calling for the collective efforts of the entire society in building a safe and friendly living environment for children; raising awareness of preventing and stopping acts of child abuse and domestic violence.

Through this launching ceremony, the People's Committee of the commune hopes to further raise awareness and responsibility among all levels, sectors, organizations, families, and the community in the work of protecting and caring for children; and at the same time, promote propaganda and prevention of domestic violence, child abuse, injuries, and other risks affecting children's development.

On this occasion, the People's Committee of Que Son Trung commune presented over 120 gifts (500,000 VND each) to disadvantaged children in the area. The funding came from donations by Mr. Tran Van Tuan, Chairman of Thai Bao Group; Mr. and Mrs. Vo Kin - natives of the area; and the Chan Tam charitable group.
