On July 23, the Ta Dung Commune Party Committee ( Lam Dong ) solemnly held the 1st Congress of Delegates for the 2025-2030 term. Attending the congress were 160 official delegates representing 470 party members in the entire Party Committee. Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi, leaders of many departments, branches and localities in the province attended.

In the 2020-2025 term, the local economic structure shifted in the right direction. The proportion of agriculture and forestry in the commune reached over 85%. Industrial production and small-scale industry gradually developed. The total state budget revenue during the term was over 110 billion VND.
Socio-economic infrastructure has received attention during the term. In the period 2020-2025, the whole commune invested in building 30 projects, with a total investment of 72.3 billion VND.
Rural traffic systems, intra-field traffic, and inter-commune roads are constantly invested in and upgraded to ensure people's daily life and trading needs.
The proportion of local trade and services reached over 11%. The tourism sector was initially focused on exploitation. The average number of annual visitors reached over 10,000. State management of land and resources was focused on and implemented in accordance with planning and plans.
Attention is paid to the preservation and promotion of traditional cultural values and cultural heritages of ethnic groups in the commune. Priority is given to investment in infrastructure and equipment in the education and training sector to serve teaching and learning well.
Local social security policies are taken care of promptly. Political security and social order and safety are basically stable, with no hot spots occurring.
Party building work is regularly paid attention to by the Commune Party Committee, with focused leadership and consolidation. The Party Committee focuses on consolidating the cadre organization to meet the requirements of the task, thereby consolidating the political system from the commune to the grassroots level.
In the 2025-2030 term, the Ta Dung Commune Party Committee determined to build a locality with comprehensive and sustainable development. The commune focuses on developing agriculture in the direction of commodity production, market linkage, application of new science and technology, and gradual mechanization of agricultural production.
The locality focuses on two breakthroughs: applying scientific and technological advances to organic agricultural production and high-tech agriculture suitable for the locality, improving productivity and product quality. The locality promotes its potential and strengths, planning to develop Ta Dung Lake into an eco-tourism and resort destination associated with local cultural traditions and a UNESCO Global Geopark.
By 2030, Ta Dung strives to have an agricultural, forestry and fishery economic structure of 68%. The trade and service sector will increase by 24%. Industry, construction and handicrafts will increase by 8%. Ta Dung commune will strive to achieve an average per capita income of 75 million VND/person/year. The average annual growth rate of total state budget revenue in the commune will increase by 8%/year. The average annual poverty rate will decrease by 1% to 2% according to new criteria...
Speaking at the Congress, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi highly appreciated the sense of responsibility of the Ta Dung Commune Party Committee in preparing for the Congress. Although it was only a short period of time, very urgent, with adjustments, the Party Committee still organized the Congress earlier than expected.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged the solidarity, unity and efforts of Ta Dung throughout the process of merging administrative units and implementing tasks according to the new local government organization model.
In the 2025-2030 term, the Ta Dung Commune Party Committee has many new opportunities and development space. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee highly appreciated the two breakthroughs of the locality. To do that soon, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Commune Party Committee to quickly overcome the limitations and shortcomings pointed out at the Congress. The locality will soon complete a streamlined government apparatus that operates effectively, efficiently, close to the people, and for the people.
“With the new model, it requires the Party Committee and the government to be truly close to the people, to be responsible to the people. The Party Committee and the government, the Fatherland Front, and member organizations must know and grasp the difficulties and problems of the people and businesses. What are the people and businesses waiting for, what are their legitimate desires with the 2-level local government model? When that question is answered, the government will truly operate effectively, creating trust among the people and businesses,” emphasized Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee directed the Party Committee of Ta Dung commune to promote administrative procedure reform in a practical and effective manner. The locality urgently and effectively implements the authority of the commune-level government according to the Government's decrees on decentralization and delegation of power.
The commune coordinates with relevant departments and branches to promptly adjust all types of planning in a public and transparent manner. The locality improves the quality of administrative procedure settlement according to the one-stop and one-stop mechanism, in order to promptly remove difficulties, obstacles and bottlenecks in the initial stage of operating the two-level local government model.
Ta Dung continues to effectively implement national target programs on sustainable poverty reduction and socio-economic development in ethnic minority areas. The whole commune must be determined and resolute, striving to achieve the goal of basically having no poor households by 2030, emphasized Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi.
