Thoi An Hoi Commune started construction of new Hy Vong Bridge

(CT) - On November 12, the People's Committee of Thoi An Hoi commune (Can Tho city) coordinated with Thien Thoi pagoda to organize the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of Hy Vong bridge in An Phu hamlet.

Delegates performed the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of Hy Vong Bridge, at An Phu Hamlet, Thoi An Hoi Commune ( Can Tho City).

The Hope Bridge was built of reinforced concrete, 22m long, 3.5m wide. The cost of building the bridge was over 200 million VND, supported by philanthropist Nguyen Trong Huy, from Texas (USA), the Commune People's Committee contributed 80 million VND.

According to the leaders of Thoi An Hoi Commune People's Committee, after completion, Hy Vong Bridge will help people travel and transport goods more conveniently. The Commune People's Committee acknowledged the support of philanthropists and the companionship of Thien Thoi Pagoda in implementing the socialization of bridge construction and rural roads in the commune.
