Drainage of Ea Súp Thượng and Ea Súp Hạ reservoirs.

In order to comply with operating procedures, ensure the safety of people and property in the downstream area, and maintain the structural integrity of the reservoirs, Ea Súp Thượng and Ea Súp Hạ reservoirs are releasing water through the spillway to regulate water levels.

According to monitoring data, at 7:00 AM on September 4, 2025, the water level at Ea Sup Thuong reservoir was at an elevation of 216.32 m, and the water level at Ea Sup Ha reservoir was at an elevation of 196.35 m.

To properly implement the adjusted and supplemented operating procedures for regulating the Ea Súp Thượng and Ea Súp Hạ reservoirs, approved by the Provincial People's Committee, the Ea Súp Irrigation Branch ( Dak Lak Irrigation Works Management Company Limited) will regulate water through the spillways of these reservoirs to reduce the water level in the reservoirs.

Specifically, the Ea Sup Thuong reservoir opened its spillway at 4 PM on September 4th with a flow rate of 30-50 ^m³ /s, and the Ea Sup Ha reservoir opened its spillway at 4 PM on September 4th with a flow rate of 10-20 ^m³ /s. The unit managing and operating the reservoirs reported to the local authorities for guidance and information to the people so they could proactively take preventive measures, especially in the Ea Sup stream area.

The downstream areas of Ea Súp Thượng and Ea Súp Hạ lakes are located in high-risk zones for flash floods on small rivers and streams, and are affected by flooding almost every year.
