Van Thang commune coordinates the dissemination and education of law.

On May 29th, the People's Committee of Van Thang commune, in coordination with the Khanh Hoa Provincial Lawyers Association, organized a conference to disseminate information on the 2024 Land Law and other newly enacted laws and decrees in 2026 to 50 delegates including officials, civil servants, representatives of political and social organizations, 15 villages, and residents of the commune.

At the conference, delegates listened to a presentation by a speaker from the Legal Consulting Center (Provincial Lawyers Association) on the new and core points of the 2024 Land Law, especially issues related to land clearance, compensation, support, and resettlement when the State reclaims land; the rights and obligations of land users; and administrative procedures in the field of land. In addition, the conference also disseminated Resolution No. 254 of the 15th National Assembly on regulations on some mechanisms and policies to overcome difficulties and obstacles in the implementation of the Land Law and introduced several other laws such as: Population; Drug Prevention and Control; and Anti-Corruption.

The conference also discussed and addressed many practical issues of concern to the people, especially those arising in land management at the local level. This helped officials, civil servants, and the people of Van Thang commune improve their legal awareness, contributing to reducing land-related disputes and complaints.
