According to Defensa Central, 'boss' Perez has made a request to Real Madrid's stars, after the defeat (3-4) in the El Clasico against Barca: to win the FIFA Club World Cup taking place in the US from June 14 to July 13.

Despite leading Barca by 2 goals early, both by Mbappe (who later had a hat-trick), Real Madrid lost 3-4 to Barca in the match that decided the La Liga title this season.

Real Madrid are currently 7 points behind Barca, so their dream of defending the title is over, having gone through the season empty-handed. However, President Florentino Perez still wants the team to play at their best in the remaining 3 matches (against Mallorca, Sevilla, Sociedad) of the tournament.

The big boss believes that a three-game winning streak is essential for Real Madrid's preparation for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.

“ I hope this is the last defeat of the season. That means we will win the FIFA Club World Cup,” President Perez told the Real Madrid team after the 3-4 defeat to Barca.

“ We didn't play well today, but we have to go to America and win that important trophy ,” he continued.

Because of the importance of the tournament, the head of Real Madrid decided not to appoint an interim coach, instead asking Xabi Alonso (who will sign a 3-year contract) to immediately get to work and show his talent at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.

The winning team, in addition to the prestige of lifting the title, also receives a large bonus of 125 million euros.
