However, the players of Army 1 showed that they are also very formidable opponents. Nguyen Hoang Lam and Nguyen Dang Hiep defeated Vu Manh Huy and Dinh Anh Hoang with scores of 3-0 and 3-2 respectively to bring the match to a balance.

In the women's team event, the first semi-final match was between Ho Chi Minh City 1 and Army 2. The championship candidate Ho Chi Minh City 1 showed its inherent strength.

Veterans such as Nguyen Khoa Dieu Khanh, Mai Hoang My Trang, Nguyen Bach Thanh Thu dominated and won 3-0 against the players of Army 2. Thereby, the girls of Ho Chi Minh City 1 won the right to play in the final.

However, the girls of Hai Duong-Long Hai 1 soon proved their strength. In turn, Bui Ngoc Lan and Dinh Thi Hue won 3-1 and 3-0 against Lam Thu Cuc and Tran Dieu Linh to bring Hai Duong-Long Hai 1 back to the lead 2-1.

Then, Bui Ngoc Lan ended the match by winning 3-1 against Vu Hoai Thanh, securing a 3-1 overall victory for Hai Duong-Long Hai 1, thereby entering the final match of the women's team event.
