Chief Inspector of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Thanh Liem said he had received the information and the Department of Performing Arts had sent a document to the program's licensing agency, the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports, for verification.
The leaders of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism said they are directing relevant units regarding the suspicion that the Organizing Committee of Blackpink's concert supports the "cow tongue line".
Social media recently reported that the official website of iMe Entertainment, the organizer of the concert called "Born Pink World Tour Hanoi" by the group BlackPink in Hanoi , posted a map of the "cow tongue line" right on the homepage. This caused many Vietnamese fans to react strongly.
iMe Entertainment is a performing arts and event organizer headquartered in Beijing, China. The company has more than 10 branch offices in China, Taiwan (China), Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, Philippines, South Korea and Australia, and has organized many concerts of K-pop and international artists.
The iMe Entertainment website has announced that it is currently under maintenance. The link has also been removed from the Fanpage.
However, the image of the map was captured and spread very quickly on social networks.
Many audiences said they would not buy tickets for the BlackPink concert as planned to express their reaction to the organizer of "Born Pink World Tour Hanoi".
